Mikayla Jean Miller
is a multi-media photographer, director and creative director focused around observing the nuances of personalities, within individuals and nature. She creates tangible imagery, to preserve and highlight textures and sensory qualities. Her aim is to document moments in time throughout different environments and cultures — to understand and collaborate with subjects, and create work that is authentic, insightful and socially conscious.
While studying at the University of the Arts in London, she dropped out to focus on documenting different communities around the world. From documenting the youth in Ukraine during the war, to rodeo queens in Utah — Mikayla’s focus remains on showing the beauty of community.
