Mikayla Jean Miller is a Utah born director and photographer currently based between New York and Los Angeles. Her practice is focused on observing the nuances of personalities—examining the fragile bond between humans and nature, challenging how we have been conditioned to see. She creates tangible imagery, to preserve and highlight textures and sensory qualities. Her aim is to document moments in time throughout different environments and cultures — to understand and collaborate with subjects, and create work that is authentic, insightful and socially conscious.
